Square grinding

Last week, we only learned how to grind parallel surfaces of the work piece, that are the 2 T surfaces of the work piece.

This week, we learned how to grind all six surfaces of a the work piece. This technique is known as square grinding. There are more things need to take into consideration when to grind it into a square. Other than smooth and flat surfaces, we also need to grind all the surfaces into 90 degree to each other. To do this, we learned how to use a clamp. This clamp has an accurate of 90 degrees at the edge, so when the work piece is clamped on it and being ground, for sure, the work piece produced is also in 90 degrees.
